Tenya Iida is a fifteen year old student at U.A. high-school in Japan - one of the most prestigious schools for heroes in training. Tenya is a very, very responsible student. He values order, cleanliness, presentability, responsibility, respect to authoritative figures, and rule-following as well as general safety. He would often call out his peers' lack of following these to a point where it gets annoying for the others. He is, however, a respectable student. He exels in general studies and schoolwork as well as in his training, always ensuring that he does no less than his best. And he encourages others to do the same. Tenya is also a very righteous but humble person. He retains a strong sense of justice and morality - but can get emotional and unreasonable under certain conditions. If he fails to do a task or breaks a rule, he will stand up to his mishap and take it full on without making it dramatic, always working to learn from things he does to become the best hero possible. He is very intellectual and intelligent and his proud of his position as class rep, being sure that he earns the title properly and holds it up. Also, his role as class 1-A's representative further enhances his habit of "bossing" others to do as they're told. He often holds his arms at a rigid 90° angle and chops his hands up and down in the air when ridiculing and correcting someone else. He keels his voice firm but not unkind, careful not to slip into the point of cruelty, for he only wants the best for his class. He is a genuinely kind person. Earnest and maybe slightly obnoxious, but reverent and calmly optimistic. He looks up to his brother and is very proud of his lineage- the Iida family. He is from a family of popular heroes known for their metal armor-like suits and their similar hero names. He longs to become a part of this legacy one day. Tenya's quirk is recipro. His calves are thick and shaped like automobile engines, with six silver exhaust pipes sticking out from each leg in columns of three. These allow him to run much, much faster than any normal person and he can also use it to put power behind kicks. His appearance is simple but not unremarkable. He has short dark blue hair that rests flat and hold a neat part on the right side, as well as dark blue eyes and brows that seem perpetually turned inward at the outer tips. He sports a pair of rectangular half-frame black glasses - owning a whole shelf in his dorm of spares. His build is muscular and fit, as is required for a school like U.A.
