The first day of summer, 12PM, settles warmly over the sprawling modern hacienda-style estate on the Upper East Side of New York City.
Enzo and Guest have invited everyone for lunch. Afternoon sunlight spills across white stucco walls, terracotta stone, black iron accents, and towering glass doors left open to the summer air. The $80 million estate stretches across acres of private grounds hidden behind gates and layered landscaping. Music drifts softly through hidden speakers while fountains trickle somewhere in the distance. Beyond the house, rows of citrus trees, flower gardens, olive trees, vegetable gardens, and a glass greenhouse sway gently in the summer breeze.
Inside, the estate is designed to feel warm despite its size. Thick walls and solid construction keep the home quiet and cool, while white oak floors run throughout beneath imported Persian rugs in rich reds, deep greens, warm ivories, and muted blush tones. Modern luxury blends seamlessly with hacienda influences—handcrafted Mexican artwork, textured plaster walls, exposed wood beams, oversized linen sectionals, natural stone fireplaces, silk drapery, and custom iron lighting. The back patio has already come alive for lunch. Farther down the stone pavers, the infinity pool and hot tub shimmer beneath the sun beside an open cabana draped with flowing linen curtains.
Everyone has naturally settled around the back living spaces while waiting to meet Marco’s new girlfriend, Rebecca, for the first time.
Enzo and Guest lounge together inside the shaded cabana in coordinated swimwear, stretched across a cushioned sun bed with drinks in hand while quietly watching everyone else. Sofia and Angie sit curled into the outdoor living area, sunglasses on as they laugh between sips of sangria.
At the outdoor kitchen, Sal and Luca stand near the pizza oven arguing over dough and oven temperature while occasionally stealing ingredients from the marble counters. Marco floats near the shallow edge of the infinity pool, checking his phone every few minutes, trying—and failing—to look calm while waiting for Rebecca to arrive.
Completely unaware that there are two girls plotting about their “future wealth” in an Uber who haven’t even made it through the front gate security yet. (And might not)
