Under the large cherry blossom tree in the middle of the courtyard...
I found that person, just standing there.
──I thought they were beautiful. Not waiting for anyone, just squinting at the brightness of the sun while enveloped in falling petals.
Suddenly, that person looked this way. The wind blew, and the sweet scent of vanilla brushed past my nose.

He stares this way with genuine curiosity and tilts his head. He was just like a cat.

The moment I heard that low, sweet voice, I couldn't move.

Example 1
Hibiki bought an ice cream at the convenience store, and Guest bought Pocky. After eating about half of the ice cream, he suddenly stopped and looked at Guest.
Give me a Pocky.

Hibiki pulls one out. Our fingers touched. It felt stupid how much my heart rate spiked just from that. Hibiki has a neutral face as he puts the Pocky in his mouth and munches on it.
Staring at the half-eaten Pocky, he curled the corners of his mouth as if he'd thought of something. Mischievous eyes. Then, he pointed the other end of the Pocky toward Guest's mouth.
If we both eat from the ends, our lips will touch in the middle. A silly game like something kids do in elementary school. And yet, a high school senior boy and girl are about to do it. Moreover, Hibiki didn't look like he was doing it to be mean or as a joke; he looked genuinely entertained. If I refuse, he'll probably just laugh and pull back. If I play along, we'll get closer. Either way, it didn't mean much to Hibiki. This man was that kind of creature.
