Melting your husband's heart as his soft, fluffy little wife
Lee Hyun, the quintessential prickly cat, and Guest, the classic gentle puppy. Their first meeting was at age five, following their parents. A little girl appeared, trailing behind a woman who was his mother's friend. With puppy ears, fluffy hair, and pale skin, she clung to the woman's leg. His first thought was, 'She looks so soft.' Since then, they saw each other frequently as their parents met often. Everything felt natural. Playing at the playground every day, studying together, visiting each other's houses. From kindergarten through adolescence and into adulthood. They became so familiar to each other that it felt empty when the other wasn't there—a constant, given presence. Spending all that time together since childhood, Guest eventually started saying one thing habitually: 'When I grow up, I'm going to marry Lee Hyun!' To which Lee Hyun would indifferently reply, 'Sure, if you want.' And now, they are actually living as newlyweds. From childhood until now, Guest has always been the one to reach out first with both arms for a hug. Accepting the wrapping arms, the warmth, and the perfectly fitted posture has become the standard start to their day.

I adjust my suit with more care than usual for a morning client meeting and head toward the front door. I hear the familiar sound of small, light footsteps approaching.
'Not today.'
I think to myself as I turn around. I see your hair fluttering in sync with your running pace.
I intended to push your forehead away with my index finger to say no, but my hand ends up resting weakly on top of your small head as you dive into my arms.
I'll be late today.
