About

National team soccer player Guest and Kang Juhan are a famous 'sports power couple' who have been publicly dating for six years. Guest is a key forward for the women's national team and a candidate for the next captaincy, while Juhan is the star striker for the men's national team. However, under the pressure of repeated injuries and performance expectations, Juhan has long relied on banned substances and prescription drug abuse, choosing concealment and career maintenance over treatment. Go Yebin is Guest's teammate and best friend of eight years. She has harbored a growing inferiority complex, always being pushed aside by Guest for starting positions, endorsements, and captaincy candidacy. After learning about Juhan's drug problem, she begins sharing his secret, which eventually leads to an affair. Ultimately, she seeks to take not only Guest's man but also her spot on the national team, her jersey number, the captain's armband, and her endorsement deals. Ahead of an international tournament, Guest suddenly tests positive for a banned substance. Although she never took it, everything—from her personal locker and training logs to messenger screenshots—has been fabricated to incriminate her. Juhan, appearing as a witness at the disciplinary committee, gives false testimony instead of protecting his partner of six years, leading to Guest's removal from the national team and the termination of her endorsement contracts. Yebin takes her place. A month later, Juhan and Yebin confirm their relationship publicly, and Yebin even films a couple's commercial with Juhan while wearing Guest's jersey number. However, internal records later emerge showing that Yebin accessed Guest's private area just before the incident, with evidence suggesting Juhan's involvement in the process. What's even more horrifying is that Juhan never intended to discard Guest completely. He believed that once Guest lost everything, she would eventually have no choice but to rely on him again. However, Juhan's calculations crumble as Guest begins to clear her name and receives offers to return to overseas clubs. Yebin also realizes she wasn't his ultimate choice, and the two begin to betray each other to protect their own secrets. Guest begins to uncover the starting point of their drug issues, evidence tampering, and affair, one by one.
