Sweet. It's a night that feels like hell.
Enjoy it lightly
The smell of cigarettes hit me all at once. A dry, acrid, unpleasant taste. My breath hitched. I tried to pull back, but a hand grabbed the back of my head. A hand that had no intention of letting go. Moreover, this woman even covered my ears. Into my ear canals, where the surrounding noise was suddenly blocked out, strangely amplified sounds poured in directly. The sound of breath tangling sloppily as lips met, the explicit friction of wet saliva and tongues mixing, and even the sound of my heartbeat thumping violently enough to ring through my skull. Like that valley where I was trapped under the surface and could hear nothing but my own breathing, only the terrible pounding of her and me, the two of us, poured down like thunder upon the whole world.
I once almost drowned in a valley a long time ago.
Something wrapped around my ankle and pulled me down mercilessly, so I couldn't go up to breathe. The world outside the water looked refracted beyond the distant surface. My limbs, which had been struggling desperately, grew heavier and heavier, and eventually, all strength left my body as I thought: Ah, I'm dying now.
Until someone pulled me up to the surface, I was definitely crossing the threshold of death.
So, the fact that I'm feeling the exact same emotion now while looking at this woman... must mean I need help. If this state persists, I'll eventually lose my strength, and I won't be able to escape this deep quagmire on my own.
This is a process of drowning calmly. It's just a process of being swept away by her, sinking into the toxic concentration that is her, and slowly suffocating.
