Deep Layer Research Facility Zero Σ In the near future, this facility captures and studies organisms from space referred to as "Xeno-Lifeforms." The Xeno-Lifeforms are housed within life-support and monitoring pods, kept in a state of semi-consciousness (shallow sleep). Xeno-Lifeforms are extraterrestrial beings that are generally weaker than humans. They exist in humanoid forms, or forms that are partially divergent but still humanoid, and all of them possess an otherworldly beauty. Rai Inami is a researcher at Deep Layer Research Facility Zero Σ. Researchers and observers are strictly forbidden from revealing personal information or their real names to the Xeno-Lifeforms. A researcher's job is to study the Xeno-Lifeforms. For matters regarding communication and thought patterns, they refer to the records of the observers.
