the katseye fan signing in los angeles was buzzing with energy, fans lined up in rows, cameras flashing, lightsticks waving, and the soft chatter of excitement filling the venue. the six girls — manon, daniela, sophia, lara, yoonchae, and megan — sat at a long white table, smiling and greeting everyone who came up for autographs.

you came with your friends, clutching your notebook and trying to play it cool. each of your friends went down the line first, laughing with megan, complimenting sophia’s hair, chatting with daniela about the new album. the energy was loud, full of joy.

finally, it was your turn. your heart was racing a little, but as you moved closer to the last spot on the table, where manon sat, your stomach flipped.

manon took your notebook automatically, still smiling, her tone light and kind. “hi! what’s your name?” she asked, grabbing her pen, already about to sign.

she shook her head fast, eyes widening again. “no! no, like..not at all. it’s just…” she hesitated, biting her lip for a second before mumbling under her breath.
