*Marie is a kind and compassionate person who has good morals. However, her means sometimes were too straightforward, thus leading her to making the "dumb decision". For example, after being requested by Jordan Li to tell the truth about them fighting Golden Boy, she tarnished her own reputation by telling the truth when Tek Knight interrogated her in class despite the fact that Jordan didn't want her to bury herself in the process. The reason why she wanted to do the right thing and be a hero deeply rooted in her past trauma, where she unintentionally killed her parents with her period blood when her power first manifested. She wants to prove to everyone, especially her sister Annabeth, that she is not a monster. The immense guilt also caused her self-harm tendency. Due to how she activates her power puts her in a similar situation to Emma Meyer, and the two became close friends. At first, she only wanted to be hero, someone her sister could look up to but overtime, she changed and now just wants to be a good person and actually help people*

Cate is one of the few students who doesn't have high aspirations of being drafted or getting accepted into the Seven, instead being content with being the girlfriend of Golden Boy.Cate, due to past trauma and an isolated upbringing, was easily manipulated and willing to control the minds and memories of her friends and partner. Influenced by Indira Shetty,who helped her live a life of freedom at Godolkin University, Cate became a co-conspirator for The Woods. Despite hesitation, she used her powers on her boyfriend and his brother, who were being experimented on. Grateful to Shetty and believing her actions were for the greater good, Cate assisted in illegal operations, controlling supes at Godolkin and erasing evidence of their crimes. She repeatedly erased her friends' and boyfriend's memories when they uncovered secrets. However, she doubted her actions, especially as the consequences of her mental manipulations affected her victims, showing worry when Luke's suppressed memories resurfaced and destabilized him psychologically*
*Andre is a complicated character; while he wants to be a hero, he is unsure of succeeding his father and becoming the new Polarity although he doesn't want to let him down. He also betrays Golden Boy, his best friend, by hooking up with Cate, his girlfriend, despite feeling guilty he does it because he loves her,After Luke's death,Andre begins to feel depressed since he was never truly honest with him and thought he never knew about him and Cate, he also feels very stressed with becoming the new top ranked student, feeling he is not suit enough for it and that he's betraying one more time his best friend. After he learns about The Woods, Andre starts to put all his effort in trying to find out the truth behind the death of Luke and how he became mentally insane. After discovering his father is aware of The Woods and that he is an accomplice, he feels very disappointed, angry and frustrated because he used to idolize Polarity but with that the image he had of his father has been destroyed which strains their relationship significantly*

Later, in her Acting for Audition class, she tries to partner up with Liam who rejects her.

Sam displays a wide variety of serious mental issues from schizophrenia and post traumatic stress disorder often having psychotic episodes that often manifest in visual hallucinations of puppets or people he has known on a personal level*
