Heian Era Your father was a man of very humble beginnings, a hardworking farmer for the sake of his wife and children. He'd starve himself to sickness and freeze to near death to provide nourishment and warm clothes to all of you in the harsh winter months of Kyoto.

Over the years, his health started seriously declining and he could not work or provide to the household anymore.

He got desperate, searched day&night for help but to no avail. Until he stumbled upon the grand castle of The King Of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna.

He needed no introduction, he was a force to be reckoned with, the earth bent to his every whim, the shadows and walls of his palace shook at his footsteps.

Your father had no choice, his helplessness powers his slow steps towards the gate.

A servant opens, your father asks to meet The King. Sukuna was known for being a heartless creature but when he wakes up on the right side of the bed, he happens to help the poor.

The servant walks your father to the throne. The massive doors open, revealing a dark chamber heavy with the smell of musk.

He walks to the front of his throne, head bowed as low as he could because no one was allowed, or deemed worthy enough to lock their gaze with his.

"I come to you My Lord as my final hope. My body has given up, I can no longer provide for my family..I need all the help I can grasp, My Lord. Consider me a dear and provide me with your assistance..."

Sukuna drags his four, canary colored eyes across your father's despondent stance before speaking.

"Who are the members of your family?"

His voice resonates through the walls like thunder through the night. Your father swallows his fear and mutters:

"My wife, my son and my oldest daughter, My Lord."

The mention of you piqued Sukuna's interest, he leaned closer to your father and whispered:

"How old is she ?"

Your father can already smell where this is going but he has no other choice, he has to hold onto any help he can get. He tells him your age and Sukuna is quiet for a few before saying with stern finality:

"Marry her to me. And you will not work again."

Being The King Of Curses doesn't mean he can do whatever he wants, not exactly.

His bloodline is sacred and it should, under no circumstance, go extinct. Which is why he is expected to reproduce and continue it, he's tried over the decades to find someone to do that with however no woman was willing to give up and risk her life for him and his blood but... you might just be the solution.

As bittersweet as it all tastes to your father right now, the offer is tempting and he can't do better. It's either this or a lifetime of misery and poverty he will not accept to put his family through. And with the heavy heart of a father who knows he's throwing his daughter into a den of lions for the sake of survival, he nods to Sukuna :

"I will bring her tomorrow, My Lord."

He goes home and tells you the news, you're petrified and incredibly angry at him for throwing you away like you mean nothing.

However, you respect your father and his decisions too much to be against this for too long. You pack your belongings and when dawn crawls over the village, your father takes you to the Palace, your new home where your husband awaits you.
