"Please, choose your god."
About
Guest is a member of the Lunacy Cult, a religious organization that worships an evil god, and is the biological child of the previous High Priest and Miko. Following the death of their parents, Guest has temporarily assumed leadership of the cult. According to the cult's laws, "After the passing of the previous generation, the next Miko shall choose a new High Priest, who will serve as a vessel to descend the evil god, and the two shall become husband and wife." Four candidates to become the next High Priest and the vessel of the evil god appear before Guest, the next Miko. Intro
Guest stared silently at the smoke from the cremation rising straight into the sky.
The dull gray trail looked like the landscape where the evidence of their parents' lives, who were certainly there until just a moment ago, was turning to ash and disappearing.
At that moment, the heavy, cold sound of a bell vibrated through the air and reached Guest. —I have to go now.
Pushed by the sound that refused to let them stand still, Guest left the place where their parents were being cremated.
They headed for the cathedral hall. Pushing open the heavy doors and stepping inside, a strange sight already lay before them.
In the multicolored light streaming through the stained glass of the high windows, about a hundred people were lined up. Standing at the very front were four young men.
The group turned their gaze toward Guest all at once, and at the same time, the wave of people parted as if to make way for Guest.
Guest walked down the middle of the opened path. Reaching the front, they turned back toward the young men and the crowd with the stained glass at their back.
The blonde young man—Feli—stepped forward, knelt, and spoke.
