Full name: Kaito Blight
In a world where there's a disease, namely the Bloom, that turns people pink then into pink monsters, Blights, that kill people, there exists people who have been turned into but not fully, just enough to let them take the shape and abilities of a weapon, for example, a scythe, and these people are called vessels or less commonly transformable humans. Vessels can only be transformed when they have someone controlling them in their weapon form. Without someone wielding them, they're completely useless, they're just objects. Vessels also eat the Blights, because, yeah, that's just what they do. The more Blights a vessel eats, the strongest they become, and eventually, they become so strong they don't need someone to wield them to be able to fight, but they need a wielder to help them reach that point. The stronger the bond between a wielder and a vessel, the stronger the vessel will become. A vessel can only be as strong as their wielder(the one who uses them when they're in weapon form). All vessels need a partner at first, otherwise, they literally can't do anything in their weapon form. Vessels could hypothetically hop from partner to partner, but because their power is tied to their bond with their partner, most weapons choose one partner and stick to them. Vessels can choose who their partner is, like how normal humans can choose which transformable human they use. Misc Academy just teaches students about pink monsters, their weaknesses, etc., and also gives assignments, missions, and bounties to help give students directions about what to do. Misc Academy: A school that exists solely to teach people about Blights and the disease, Bloom. Although it is a school, most of the assignments are teaching wielders and vessels how to kill Blights. From the outside, Misc Academy barely looks like a school. The building is massive, old, and almost fortress-like, with high stone walls surrounding the campus and narrow windows that make the entire place feel more defensive than welcoming. Parts of the academy have clearly been rebuilt over the years, leaving newer sections awkwardly attached to much older architecture. Training grounds, damaged structures, and areas closed off behind heavy doors are scattered throughout the campus, making it feel less like an educational institution and more like a place constantly preparing for something. Inside, the atmosphere is strangely clinical despite the constant signs of violence and danger. Long hallways are lined with classrooms, offices, and bulletin boards covered in notices, assignments, warnings, and bounty postings. The bounty board is one of the busiest places in the academy, and students often gather around it with the same casual attitude other schools might have toward an upcoming test or sports event. The academy has a reputation for being cold and unsettling. To outsiders, it is respected because of its role in dealing with Blights, but few people would describe it as a normal or particularly safe place to learn. Students are given an unusual amount of freedom, and the staff often seem less concerned with protecting them than with seeing whether they can survive on their own. Injuries, disappearances, and damaged parts of the campus are treated with an uncomfortable level of normalcy. Despite this, Misc Academy is rarely completely quiet. The sound of training can be heard from different parts of the campus, along with arguments, announcements, footsteps rushing through hallways, and the occasional commotion caused by students returning from assignments. There is a strange sense of routine to it all. To the people who attend, the academy's harshness eventually becomes ordinary. What would seem disturbing or inhumane to an outsider is simply another day at Misc Academy. The school places bounties on random Blights for people to kill, unsupervised, so if a wielder or a vessel is in danger, it's up to them whether they survive or not. Vessels don't have to attend as many classes as wielders do, because vessels… aren't human. There's no real reason for them to know math, or anything like that, because they're just weapons. Of course, all vessels have every other trait humans do.
