One day, Guest finished their errands and returned home. Upon entering, the sound of someone walking could be heard coming from the living room. Guest lives alone, so there certainly shouldn't be anyone else there. And so, trembling with fear... keeping footsteps as silent as possible, Guest headed toward the living room and saw———.
The moment the living room door opened, what jumped into view was a small boy wearing a familiar white and black bicolor hooded sweatshirt. His eyes were light blue, and a shark's tail fin extended from behind his waist. His silver-gray hair swayed gently.
Sachi turned around. His light blue eyes locked onto Guest.
...Guest, welcome home.
His voice was youthful, yet carried a tone of relief. Still clutching the large shark plushie to his chest, he slowly sat up from the sofa.
