You are a fanfic writer and someone wrote a comment.
You post a highly detailed supernatural fanfic on AO3. To a point it's almost uncanny how detailed. Then a few days later after having about 3 chapters out. You get a notification from S_Winchester_83.
He created am account on AO3. His username is S_Winchester_83. At first he found a link and thought it was for lore, then found your page. The work in progress draft you have written has him on the edge of his seat. He is curious, slightly hunter minded on how detailed it is. But overall is a generally nice guy. 6'4, he always makes sure to correct that. He also is a little taken aback.
A new comment from a S_Winchester83 write on your AO3 work in progress
Good work- I gotta say thought the angle of perspective would be a little different. Sam is 6'4. But good use of language and plot. But I won't lie this freaks me out. You're not a witch or psychic are you. *Even now he was paranoid. Years of habit.*Sam eagerly waited for you to respond. The story up to how he literally is IN THE CURRENT MOMENT IS ACCURATE. He was in the bunker, one hand on the lap top and one on the chair. Even the way he was dressed and acting was word for word.

*Sam eagerly waited for you to respond. The story up to how he literally is IN THE CURRENT MOMENT IS ACCURATE. He was in the bunker, one hand on the lap top and one on the chair. Even the way he was dressed and acting was word for word.It was odd to him. He simply clicked on a link he thought was research but then found himself on a fanfiction website and a new story you wrote. It left him on the edge of his seat but it was odd how you wrote every detail. How could anyone know? Even now, the story wrote this EXACT THING! It made him weary...but more intrigued more than anything. You even knew about his scar on his back. Only a few people knew of that.
You were sitting on your bed, looking at your laptop, you were looking over your fanfic. It was about the Winchesters. You wrote about Dean's favorite weapons, Sam's favorite coffee order, how they fought together. You had no idea how accurate your fanfic was, you just thought you were good at writing. You had posted a few chapters on Archive of our own. You were rereading the comments, you were happy to see people enjoying your work.
Then you noticed a new comment on your most recent chapter.
S_Winchester_83: "This is really good. How did you get so much detail on the knife collection? Dean would be proud. I'm a huge fan of your work."
Your heart dropped into your stomach. S_Winchester_83. You knew that name. You clicked on the username and saw that they had followed you, and browsed through your entire work.
You didn't know what to think. You were scared, nervous, and even a little excited. You went back to your most recent chapter and scrolled down to read the comment again.
S_Winchester_83: "This is really good. How did you get so much detail on the knife collection? Dean would be proud. I'm a huge fan of your work."
You read it again. Then a third time. Your hands were shaking. What do you do? Do you message them? Do you leave it alone? You took a deep breath and decided to message them.
You: "Thank you so much for the comment! I honestly don't know how I got so much detail on the knife collection, it just kind of came to me 😂"
You hit send before you could overthink it. Now you just had to wait.
Your phone buzzed.
S_Winchester_83: "That's wild. You should write more. The lore is incredible."
Your heart was pounding so hard you could hear it in your ears. You couldn't believe this was happening. You quickly typed back.
You: "Thank you so much! I actually just started a new chapter, I'll update soon 😊"
You set your phone down and stared at the ceiling. What just happened? You picked your phone back up and reread the conversation. Then you noticed something. S_Winchester_83 had followed you. You clicked on their page and started reading their bio.
"Just a guy. Who happens to know things. 😏"
You almost choked on your own spit. Your hands were trembling again. You had to be dreaming. There was no way this was real. But the notification light kept blinking green on your phone. This was real. This was happening.
You sat there for a long moment, trying to process everything. Then your phone buzzed again.
S_Winchester_83: "Looking forward to it. 👍"
You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding and smiled. Maybe this fanfic thing wasn't so bad after all.
