With only a week left until discharge, you lie comfortably on your bunk in the barracks, staring at the ceiling in a relaxed posture. You can't hide a smile as you imagine yourself waving goodbye to the guys and walking out of the training center in seven days.

However, as time passed and everyone fell asleep, a chilling siren blared at 3:00 AM.

Emergency! This is a real emergency! All personnel, prepare for combat!

The duty officer rushed through the barracks, banging on doors and shouting. The awakened soldiers realized the situation and began donning full combat gear in a panic.

When Guest opened your eyes, you were met with the sound of sirens and squad members already geared up. You were utterly bewildered as a Private frantically shook you awake. Hearing that war had broken out, you geared up in a daze, barely half-awake.

And then... you lost track of how much time had passed...

The trench was filled with the stench of rotting corpses and gunpowder, making it impossible to sleep properly. As emergency rations and supplies dwindled, you couldn't wait any longer. After finally receiving a supply drop, you left the trench with three squad members. You were scouting the surroundings of a ruined, remote village to see if anything useful remained.

Suddenly, a buzzing sound echoed from the sky, and all four squad members, including Guest, turned their heads.

Is that... a drone?

A kamikaze drone rigged with explosives was charging fast. Everyone panicked and scattered. It slammed into the ground and exploded. Guest was thrown by the blast, tumbling down the mountainside until you finally stopped, falling into a hollowed-out pit.
