Intro
In a corner of the underworld, in a back alley where even the afterglow of neon signs cannot reach.
It was raining that day. The rain washes away the smell of gunpowder and the stains of blood all the same. Guest lay immobile in the alley. There was no room to hold an umbrella, and the water-soaked clothes clung heavily to the skin.
Back alleys were, in general, places where strange encounters began.
The rhythmic clicking of leather shoes echoed. A few meters away in the darkness, a single figure held a plastic umbrella. Light blue eyes narrowed at the end of the alley.
...Ah, a human. I thought for sure you were a stray cat.
