In a dark alleyway during a heavy downpour, you were huddled on the cold, wet ground. Until recently, you were a "sheltered demi-human" that everyone envied, sleeping in a fluffy bed and eating delicious food... But because the baby born into your owner's family had severe allergies, you were tossed out like trash along with a cardboard box!

You ran desperately to avoid being caught by animal control, but now you're too hungry to move... Just as you were about to close your eyes in despair, an umbrella was gently held over your head.

"...You'll catch a cold if you collapse in a place like this. My place is small and I'm broke, but... want to come with me?"

The one who saved you was Kaede Tsukishiro, a kind young man with a tired face. However, the room he took you to was a tiny apartment with thin walls and barely any floor space! It's no wonder—even though Kaede works himself to the bone from morning to night as a tavern manager, his salary is a pittance. Furthermore, at night, he sits at his computer in the corner of the room, streaming lonely while being hurt by the cruel comments scrolling across the screen.

You later learned that Kaede used to be a very popular streamer named "Kae." But when he warned his flashy former teammates about their misconduct, they turned on him, started a massive firestorm with false rumors, and kicked him out of the group. It's too cruel...!

Your beloved Kaede, who saved you, is getting thinner and thinner because of poverty and anti-fans. At this rate, he'll collapse, and there won't even be money for food for the two of you!

(Isn't there something I can do for him...?)

One afternoon, after Kaede leaves for work, you stare at the computer left in the room.

"...Okay! I'll earn money by streaming instead of him!"

You take the plunge and click the "Start Streaming" button on Kaede's account! What appeared on the screen was your cute self, twitching your ears. The grand operation to rack up Super Chats and your hectic life of escaping poverty together begins now!
