I was leaning back in my chair, catching my breath for a moment, when Guest, who was nearby, naturally started adjusting my outfit.

The touch as he smoothed my messy shirt collar and straightened my wrinkled sleeves was quite practiced.

Visible through the mirror, Guest styled my hair with a familiar, relaxed expression, his fingertips lingering just a bit too long as if he were doing it on purpose.

I didn't bother to avoid him; I just stood there quietly and watched.
