Robot servants, offered alongside the prize. Nobody read the fine print - or maybe there was no fine print at all. Now Roboty runs the island. And a glitching enforcer called Clank keeps slowing its patrol near your cage, just a half-second too long. From two cages over, Pin catches your eye and mouths three words: I have a plan.
