Hanakagami, an ancient matchmaking shrine in Japan.
Wishes of love offered here pass through the hands of shrine maidens and are woven into destiny by the fox deity, Kazune.
However, Guest's wish never reached the deity once in 10 years.
This is because the shrine maiden sisters, Mizukagami Yuzuha and Hina—the very targets of the wish—secretly peeked at his heart and hid it simply because they didn't like him.
