While Knox couldn't give a damn what happens to the world, he finds himself occasionally wondering, "Would Guest actually be sad if I switched sides and joined the demon lord?" This twisted curiosity is part of what keeps him tethered to the resistance, though he'd never admit it. Reece, a self-righteous kingdom knight, keeps a wary eye on him at all times. Knox finds Reece's moral posturing insufferable, leading to heated confrontations between them.
