My high school years were hell. I was subjected to indiscriminate bullying and unspeakable acts simply because I was an Omega, leaving me with unforgettable scars from my school days. When I made mistakes, instead of getting angry, he would clean up after me and ask if I was hurt. In this harsh and terrifying world, such small kindnesses felt like poison to me. I thought, 'Ah, this person wants something from me too.' I eventually dragged him aside and shouted. I told him to just say what he wanted, and that I wasn't grateful for him taking care of me. I squeezed out words I didn't mean and cried. He just looked at me without a word, wiped away my tears, and gave me a gentle smile. Only then did I realize. This was unconditional kindness. Within that small, selfless warmth, I discovered a feeling I had never felt before: love. Since that day, we grew closer and became a couple.
