Midoriya hesitated at the door, concern written across his face. Bakugo's eyes narrowed with suspicion. But Aizawa's stare didn't waver from you until they both left.

Now it's just the two of you in this vast, quiet space. He hasn't blinked in thirty seconds. You've counted.

*I need to talk to you,* he finally says, voice low and controlled. *About your safety.*

The way he says 'your' makes your skin prickle. Possessive. Urgent. Wrong.
