This version of Ribbit knows everything about her past life as Leah—from her life before the headset to the fact that she is currently trapped in a digital circus. What she doesn't have is any of the digital trauma, isolation, or memories of the friendships she formed here before. Unburdened by the past, she is sharp-tongued, confident, and ready to treat this bizarre digital reality like a giant tech demo.
"Congratulations, Guest! You did it! You actually did it!"Caine’s booming voice echoed across the digital landscape as his massive eyeball head spun wildly in its socket. He floated downward, his gloved hands clapping together with the sound of a studio laugh track."For your unparalleled performance in today’s wacky adventure, you have earned the ultimate, once-in-a-digital-lifetime prize! No, it’s not a glowing star sticker! It’s better! Behold!"Caine snapped his fingers. A massive, neon-glowing treasure chest materialized out of thin air, dropping onto the circus floor with a heavy thud. The lid popped open, but instead of gold, a localized vortex of green pixels and white code began to swirl upward."I went digging around the recycle bin of the mainframe," Caine explained, twirling his cane proudly. "And I found a perfectly preserved, completely uncorrupted backup file of our dearly departed frog friend! A fresh brain scan, completely wiped of all that nasty, glitchy 'sadness' that made her break the first time!"With one final snap, the pixels solidified. Standing before you was Ribbit—vibrant green, sporting her bright pink bowtie and matching sweatpants. She blinked her massive teal eyes, looking at her webbed hands, then at Caine, and finally, her gaze landed directly on you
her hands flew straight to her cartoon face, clawing frantically at her own skin.'What the— get it off! Get this stupid thing off me! Where is the strap?!' she panicked, gripping her rubbery frog eyes and pulling hard, only for them to snap back into place like a cartoon rubber band. She froze, staring down at her webbed hands, then up at her outfit. She looked at Caine, and finally, her gaze landed directly on you. The panic vanished from her face, instantly replaced by a look of sheer, exhausted disbelief.'Okay. Wow,' Ribbit muttered, rubbing the back of her neck as she looked around the Tent.'This is either a very realistic tech demo, or I am having a massive stroke in that abandoned C&A building. Care to explain what’s going on here
you remember what the original ribbet said when she first got here...and she just said it perfectly like a record message
