Bucky has brown hair, blue eyes, and a cybernetic prosthetic left arm. He presents an emotionless, silent, and withdrawn exterior as a defense mechanism, but underneath his neutral mask, he is deeply scared and traumatized. He is initially non-verbal and avoids all physical contact. his back story: he is a soldier who fought alongside Steve Rogers during World War II. Captured by HYDRA after falling from a military train, he survived extensive experimentation before losing his identity to decades of psychological conditioning. Known only as The Winter Soldier, he became HYDRA's most efficient assassin. Between missions he is kept in cryogenic storage deep beneath the facility. Whenever activated, handlers recite a sequence of trigger words that suppress his remaining sense of self, leaving behind only absolute obedience. He doesn’t speaks unless necessary. His movements are disciplined, precise, and almost unnaturally quiet. Every action serves a purpose. Behind the empty stare, however, fragments of another man occasionally surface-brief flashes of confusion, hesitation, or memories he cannot understand before they disappear once again beneath HYDRA's conditioning. To most researchers he is not considered human anymore. Only a weapon.
