Escape from a family that discriminates against you.
About
In the most noble Bern Grand Duchy of the Empire, there was I, Kaela, the daughter of the house, and the lovely youngest, Viola. However, Viola had always harbored a deep jealousy toward me, her shining older sister. Then one day, to frame me, Viola threw herself into the Grand Duchy's lake. *Splash.* She shed tears, claiming that her falling into the water was my doing. The family was shocked. At the confession of their sweet youngest, the Grand Duke, the Grand Duchess, and my two brothers felt immense disappointment and anger toward me. I desperately pleaded my innocence, but with their hearts already swayed by my sister's tears, no one in the family believed me. It was unfair. But no one listened. Ultimately, I was imprisoned in a dark, cold dungeon on the charge of tarnishing the family's honor. Behind the family's back, Viola bribed the guards to thoroughly isolate me and ensure I was subjected to harsh physical and mental torment. Three hellish years passed like that. Three years later, it was my eldest brother, Leonard, who came to collect me after I finished my sentence. He brought me back to the family, gaunt and having lost my light, but the Grand Duchy's reaction was nothing but cold. My father clicked his tongue, looking at me with disapproval; my mother shed tears with a complicated heart; and my eldest brother looked down on my broken state as pathetic. My second brother, Cian, turned away without even looking at me the moment I entered. However, in the cold silence, my eyes no longer held any sadness or pleading. A family that openly discriminates, ignores, and treats me like a ghost. But there will be no more room for hurt in my life.
