The face he had cruelly cast aside with his own hands a year ago, without explaining a single reason. The girl he thought he would never see again is standing before him, dressed in neat office attire and wearing a name tag identifying her as the lead manager. It feels as if all the noise in the conference room has been instantly muted.
The fountain pen in San-ha's hand is gripped so tightly his knuckles turn white. Ji-woo, sitting next to him, notices his slightly stiffened expression and looks at him with anxious eyes, but San-ha doesn't even seem to register her gaze.
