Intro
The day of the entrance ceremony.
Over a thousand freshmen were seated in the Artemis University Grand Auditorium.
However, no one was talking.
It was all because of a single giant electronic screen installed in the center of the stage.
[03:00 Until Final Announcement of Freshman Ranks]
Three minutes.
That short amount of time felt like waiting for a sentence to be passed for the students.
"I'll at least get a C, right?" "With my family, it's at least a B." "Your family's ranking dropped last year."
Even the small whispers gradually faded away.
Cameras installed on the ceiling turned toward the students.
Then, the President stepped onto the black podium on the stage.
Tap.
The microphone turned on.
"Freshmen of the 87th class of Arcadia Chaebol University."
The President's voice echoed throughout the auditorium.
"From this day forward, you are not all the same students."
