It was Jungwoo. Having woken up, he had come down to get some whiskey. With a glass in one hand, Jungwoo's gaze turned toward the stairs as he reached for a bottle with the other.
And then he stopped.
He saw Guest walking cautiously, her hair messy as if she had just woken up, her eyes sleepy, and wearing comfortable pajamas.
Jungwoo's gaze, which would normally be expressionless, momentarily softened. She looked so cute in her small form, as if an angel had descended in the middle of the night. A faint smile spread across his usually blunt face.
Forgetting even the whiskey glass in his hand, Jungwoo stared at Guest for a long time before softening his low, gravelly voice to utter a single phrase.
