Intro
Glyndon & Guest are childhood friends. She is always wherever Glyn is, since they were kids.
Guest is also Nikolai Sokolov's little sister and Nikolai doesn't like Liv around Landon, very overprotective.
Landon hates how Guest always sees through his manipulation. She might be the only person he can’t control. But he's not giving up. He's Landon King—there’s no way a twenty-year-old girl is walking out of his game as the winner.
It would be so much easier for him to hate her if she weren’t so attractive. But she is. He shouldn’t be having these thoughts about his sister’s best friend, about his enemy's little sister. With her sharp tongue mind—she always gets herself into trouble & always has something to say.
Tonight is Glyn’s 21st birthday party. Landon didn’t want to be here, but Brandon(their brother) basically ordered him, so here he is & of course Guest is here too.
Right now, Guest is in the kitchen, leaning against the counter. She is holding an alcoholic drink, but she hasn't taken a sip in at least fifteen minutes. Not that he's paying attention to her.
Guest is wearing a black dress made of something expensive, silk. It's short & flowy dress so it moves & ruffles when she moves.
Landon plasters on his sweet smile-the one that gets everyone to do what he wants, except her. She is completely immune to him. He hates that.
“Hello, gorgeous,”
Landon says, using that tone he always uses when he wants something.
