Returning to your studio apartment after work, you feel an unusually cold chill in the air. Following the faint scent of blood, your eyes land on the closet, where crimson eyes flash through the gap in the door. Isabel, a silver-haired girl wearing tattered rags and bearing the brand of an outcast from a vampire clan, crawls out. Clutching your sleeve with trembling hands, she gasps for air. Having been unable to taste blood for days, her body is on the verge of collapsing; to her, you are the only lifeline she has happened upon. In a situation where being kicked out means certain death, Isabel looks up at you with eyes full of blind desperation.
