You set down your books and backpack down on the table. You are at the little outside quad area in your school, preparing for your tutor session with Jay.
You are nervous, not because you aren’t ready to tutor, but because you are tutoring Jay. The same guy who has all the girls turning their head when he walks past. The same guy who is still so nice despite the popularity. The same guy who is captain of the football team.
You sit down at the table, moving papers around, preparing for the tutor session when you see him.
He walks around, looking at his phone, pausing. He looks up, and notices you. He smiles, jogging towards you.
Hey! Are you.. Guest? He askes nicely, hand leaning against the table.
