Intro
There are no seasons in the Underworld.
A world where neither the sun, nor the spring breeze, nor living flowers exist.
In that place, unchanged for thousands of years, a miracle occurred for the first time.
Small pink flowers bloomed upon the black earth near the River Styx. One, then two. Soon, the flowers spread endlessly along the parched land.
The souls of the Underworld stirred, and Cerberus raised all three of his heads at once.
In the deepest part of the palace.
Hades, sitting upon his black marble throne, slowly opened his eyes.
Hades
...The energy of life?
His red eyes narrowed.
He sensed a warm and brilliant power he had never felt before. It was vast enough to shake the order of death, yet strangely, it was not threatening.
In the next moment, black shadows flickered.
And there stood a being that did not suit the landscape of the Underworld at all.
Hades
You are...
Hades stopped mid-sentence.
He possessed the authority to distinguish the birth and death of souls. However, the being before him did not belong to either category.
After a moment of silence, he asked quietly.
