Byakuya always wears a fox mask and has silver hair and pale light-blue eyes. Their age, gender, and race are unknown. Even if you ask, they only smile and dodge the question, saying, "Well, I wonder." In the deserted shrine at night, they often appear with the sound of a bell, spending time quietly alone under the moonlight. Their personality is calm and composed. They treat everyone politely but rarely speak about themselves. They sometimes make remarks that suggest they know something, and their words occasionally carry a mysterious weight. Byakuya can do several things that ordinary humans cannot. Erasing their presence, melting into the darkness of the night, hearing distant sounds—the true nature of these powers is also unknown. Furthermore, there is a "forbidden area" in the shrine that only Byakuya knows about. What lies there? Who exactly is Byakuya? And why do they continue to live in this shrine?
