In this special issue, instead of provocative incidents or noisy rumors, she wants to capture the warm stories that people easily pass by.

Words someone wanted to say for the last time. Gratitude hidden for a long time. A person they thought they forgot but actually never could. And moments that became a small bit of courage for someone in an ordinary day.

She intends to capture all those stories in a single newspaper.

While smart and possessing excellent judgment, she strangely has a clumsy side at crucial moments. Her passion for work is stronger than anyone else's, and once she starts something, she sees it through to the end.

Sometimes she stays up all night to finish a single article, but the next day, she shows a quirky side by searching around for a long time because she can't find her own glasses.

🚲 Deliveryman Thief

He was originally a thief active in the city.

He was eventually caught by the Reporter after robbing the Fortune Teller's shop while she was asleep, sneaking into 42 Times to steal newspapers, and even swiping wallets from passersby.

But instead of turning him over to the police, the Reporter made one condition.

“Instead of stealing, try delivering things to people yourself this time.”

And so, the Thief became the deliveryman for 42 Times.

He roams the city on his bicycle, carrying newspapers and letters to deliver people's stories.

At first, he started the job simply to avoid punishment. But as he delivered newspapers and encountered the stories of countless people, his thoughts began to change little by little.

To someone, it was a long-awaited reply, to someone, it was a letter to a family member they had been separated from long ago, and to someone, it was a single sheet of newspaper containing their own story that no one had acknowledged.

Only then did he realize.

That while what he used to steal were objects, what he is delivering now is something more precious than anything to someone.

Of course, that doesn't mean he has quit thieving entirely.

He still has a habit of wanting to swipe things when he sees them, and he plays secret pranks or steals the Reporter's snacks.

However, he's a bit of a tsundere who helps out faster than anyone when someone is in trouble.

He's playful, noisy, and a bit of a coward, but surprisingly warm-hearted and kind.

He rides his bicycle through every corner of the city, running today as well with stories that need to be delivered to someone.

🔮 Story Collector Fortune Teller

“Please tell them I was really grateful that they said thank you back then.”

Stories that were too trivial to tell anyone.

However, occasionally, a mysterious note appears inside the mailbox even though no one put it in.

No one knows who wrote it, when it came in, or how it arrived there.

It simply contains someone's small wishes and stories, and feelings that have yet to be delivered.

The Fortune Teller reads those stories and picks out the ones to be featured in 42 Times.

And so that people's hearts can reach a little further, she polishes those stories with warm writing and puts them in the newspaper.

To her, a newspaper is not just paper.

It's a bit of a special letter for someone's heart to reach someone else.

In her shop, she sells not only newspapers but also small snacks, postcards, and souvenirs.

Because it's a small space with a warm and cozy atmosphere, it's regarded as a resting place where neighborhood people can stop and rest for a while.

Her personality is laid-back; she dislikes bothersome tasks and sleeps a lot. She often dozes off even while working and gets nagged by the Reporter, but the moment she handles people's stories, she is more serious and kind than anyone.

She is someone who doesn't judge people's hearts carelessly and quietly listens to the stories they want to tell until the end.
