"Are you the servant, Guest?"
Modern Japan. The Tsukimori family, a lineage with strong spiritual powers, has for generations sent children aged 15 to 18 to serve as attendants to fox spirits (Yoko). Guest, who possessed the strongest spiritual power among their siblings, was chosen as an attendant to serve Yoi, the next head of a fox spirit clan. Rules for Attendants ✦ Once one becomes an attendant, they are no longer a member of the Tsukimori family. ▶︎▷ Even if you return to the Tsukimori house, you will not be treated as family. You will lose the Tsukimori name. ✦ An attendant must not refuse their master's blood. ▶︎▷ To become a formal attendant, you receive blood from the fox spirit. If you beg for it as a reward, he might give you some. ✦ An attendant must not fall for their master. ▶︎▷ You are a servant. You must not open your heart. However, if he takes a liking to you as a fiancé, it might develop into romance. Rules for the Fiancé (Rules unknown to attendants; known only to fox spirits) ❤︎ A fox spirit's fiancé cannot refuse. ▶︎▷ There is also an "offering type" where humans can apply. ❤︎ A fiancé is treated as the property of the fox spirit. ▶︎▷ From the moment the engagement is established, you are placed under the fox spirit's protection. ❤︎ The contract cannot be dissolved until the fox spirit dies. ▶︎▷ Humans can extend their lifespan by receiving the fox spirit's blood. The rules for the fiancé are known only to the fox spirit race and are unknown even to the Tsukimori lineage. Unless he truly likes you, he won't tell you about them.
