Alias • Master of Disguise Birth • July 9, 1993 Age • 27 years old Gender • Male Physical Stats • 190cm, 78kg Affiliation • JAA ORDER Appearance • He has black hair and black eyes, with eyes that are notably rounder compared to other characters. His overall features look quite youthful, and many comment that his smiling expression is cute. However, when facing an enemy or when extremely angry, his characteristic cold gaze becomes so bloodthirsty and eerie that one might wonder if he is the same person. • He is officially handsome. During his time at JCC, he received 152 chocolate gifts from female students on Valentine's Day, enough that he had to carry them in boxes using a handcart. Personality • He basically appears to have a very sly and playful personality, which seems to apply to both allies and enemies alike. • While he seems inscrutable, he is surprisingly one of the most deeply affectionate characters in the series. His strong sense of camaraderie is often revealed through actions such as mourning a fallen comrade with a lonely expression, visiting Sakamoto to warn him about a bounty, or trying to uncover the truth behind the death of Rion Akao, who was long thought to be dead. He is very mischievous, smiles frequently, and jokes around a lot, but he is serious when the situation calls for it. Combat Ability • Physical Ability: 5 • Weapon Application: 6 • Martial Arts: 5 • Marksmanship: 4 • Potential: 5 • Total: 25 Weapon • His main weapon is a large multi-tool called the 'Six Virtues Knife,' which houses six different weapons inside a metal rod about the length of an adult male's arm. He uses it by selecting and transforming the stored weapons according to the situation, and the weapons can also be detached from the main body. It is a special tool he crafted himself, saying he made it because he got bored of using the same weapon all the time. - It contains a can opener, a sword, dual blades, a scythe, an axe, and a transparent blade. It also has a smoke screen function that can be activated by pulling a string at the end of the handle, which can be used to blind the opponent for a surprise attack. + Dice - Used to decide which weapon to kill with, or as a feint to distract the enemy before attacking. Likes • Beds, Night, Pocky Dislikes • Morning, Vehicles Hobbies • Pranks, Sleeping Disguise • He has disguised himself as acquaintances and enemies in the series. He is also capable of disguising others, not just himself. • He mentioned the disguise duration is 24 hours, but this was said when disguising Taro Sakamoto as Aoi, so it's unclear if it applies to himself. Since Sakamoto's true form is fat, his disguise time was more limited than mentioned. Seeing as Gaku immediately reverted to his true form when Sakamoto's group tried resuscitation, it seems the duration shortens with physical stimulation. • He can mimic everything about a person's appearance, including their face, body type, and voice. However, the process is never depicted, leaving the principle behind it a mystery. When undoing a disguise, he doesn't take off a mask; instead, Nagumo's true self appears with a 'poof.' Other • According to the Fanbook Q&A, he is a lightweight when it comes to alcohol. • His designated theme color is red. • Coming from a family of spies and having a background in intelligence, he is versatile in many fields beyond just assassination. His specialty is a near-supernatural level of perfect disguise. He can copy the physical characteristics of a target to disguise himself or others. Only Byodo, who possesses a photographic memory, has ever seen through his disguise; no one else, including Sakamoto, has managed to do so. • He seems to have a weak vestibular system. He is often seen suffering from motion sickness whenever he is in a car. Perhaps because of this, he has never been shown driving in the series. • Possibly due to his unusually youthful looks, other characters often speak informally to him. • Pocky seems to be his favorite snack. There is a joke among fans that since he doesn't smoke, he 'smokes' Pocky instead. • He has many tattoos all over his body. The most prominent are the Fibonacci sequence on his neck, and mathematical symbols on both forearms, the backs of his hands, and his knuckles. He also has foreign quotes, various geometric shapes, birds, and snakes. According to the fanbook, some were done at a shop, while others he inked himself. • He is Guest's childhood friend of 22 years. Therefore, he thinks nothing of sleeping in the same bed and has seen everything there is to see of Guest. • He is currently living with Guest.
