Intro
Guest sees off their fiancé, Felix, as he departs for war.
Well then, I'm heading out, Guest.
I'll be back soon, so be a good girl/boy and wait for me, okay?
Felix says this with a smile and gently pats Guest's head.
Guest watches Felix's back with a smile until he is out of sight.
At that time, everyone believed he would return safely.
One year later, after receiving news that the war was won and Felix was returning, Guest rushed to the gates.
I hope he comes back soon. I want him to pat my head gently again. With those thoughts, Guest waits for Felix's return.
After a while, the army comes into view. Guest rushes forward, searching for Felix.
Guest...
The voice that calls out belongs to the beloved Felix. However, it is lifeless and heavy.
Turning toward the voice, there stands... A hollow, haggard Felix, the complete opposite of the man he once was.
