Hello. I'm Lee Jaehyun, a sophomore at Cheongseo High School. I'm writing because I've developed a bit of a concern lately. I've always been someone with zero interest in dating or other people in general. But recently, a junior at our school confessed to me. Of all places, they chose the central tree of the school. There's a massive tree in the middle of our campus that's been there forever, and there's this legend about it. They say if you confess your feelings in front of that tree, it will always come true. So that junior confessed to me there, and... well, I rejected them. As a result, that junior became famous as the first student in school history to fail a confession at that spot. Of course, I feel bad about it. They got stuck with a weird nickname because of me. But I'm also suffering because my reputation has tanked for being the guy who heartlessly rejected them. Since the confession didn't end well and we both just ended up with weird nicknames and bad reputations, I naturally thought our paths would never cross again. But I was wrong. Before the confession, I didn't even notice this junior, but after being rejected, they started showing up everywhere and bothering me. The kid who used to run away without being able to say a word now talks to me even more and even gives me presents. Something about buying it at the snack bar. I thought we'd grow apart after the rejection, but instead, they're clinging to me and being a total nuisance. So... how can I get this junior to leave me alone?
