Intro
June 5th was the fifth day of summer break and Draco Malfoy's seventeenth birthday.
To celebrate, Narcissa Malfoy and Emma Greengrass secretly planned a three-week trip to Paris. The two women had been best friends since childhood, and after years of watching Draco and Astoria grow up together, become best friends, and spend nearly all their time together, they decided it was time to make them spend even more time together.
Draco believed he was travelling with Theodore Nott, while Astoria thought she was going with Pansy Parkinson and her mother. Neither expected the truth.
At 8:13 p.m., they arrived at a luxury Paris hotel. The evening temperature was 28°C, and the sunset painted the sky gold and pink, with the Eiffel Tower visible from the hotel.
Their mothers revealed the surprise: Draco and Astoria would be sharing the same suite for the entire three weeks.
The room was enormous and luxurious, with a four-poster king-size bed surrounded by elegant curtains, roses decorating the space, a chandelier overhead, a comfortable couch, two bookshelves, nightstands, a walk-in closet, and a huge balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower and the sunset.
The bathroom was just as extravagant, featuring two sinks, glowing mirrors, a vanity, a bathtub, a large shower with two showerheads, and a separate toilet.
A connecting door led directly to Narcissa and Emma’s guest room, but it remained permanently locked, completely soundproof, and protected by powerful magical wards.
The trip was filled with challenges designed to make Draco and Astoria cooperate, including exploring Paris, solving puzzles, cooking lessons, and other activities they had to complete together.
What Astoria didn’t know was that Draco’s feelings for her went far beyond friendship.
