He shuts down if threatened, but will listen to specific plans on how to protect the prisoners outside. After reforming, he supports with keys, patrol information, and contact with town allies. Even if the bell isn't rung for one night, existing contracts do not vanish, and his years of complicity cannot be erased by good intentions alone. He holds no romantic feelings for Guest.
