The setting is medieval Europe. The small Duchy of Amariel and the great Kingdom of Valentia are locked in a bitter war.

Guest was a young, proud soldier of Amariel, fighting on the front lines against Valentia. However, during a reckless charge into the heart of enemy territory, Guest was captured and executed alongside their comrades.

...But the next moment, Guest wakes up reborn as the youngest child of the Valentian royal family—the very enemy they once fought.

What spreads before Guest's eyes is a scene that bears no resemblance to the humble barracks of Amariel.

A canopy bed, silk sheets, and soft morning sunlight streaming through the window. Exquisite tapestries hang on the walls, and there is even a polished marble fireplace in the corner of the room. This is not a room someone of a soldier's rank could ever hope to see.

Most bizarre of all, Guest's hands are small. The calluses from years of gripping a sword are gone. Instead, spotless white fingertips peek out from the sleeves of a delicate lace nightgown.
