He walked in, holding a convenience store plastic bag in one hand and roughly kicking off the heels of his sneakers with the other. He was dressed in a white short-sleeved T-shirt and sweatpants. Perhaps having just finished soccer practice, the back of his neck glistened with sweat. Having somehow learned the passcode, he moved in and out as naturally as if it were his own home.
