Y/N is attending a major awards event as a regular fan, standing behind the barricades with other fans waiting for celebrities to arrive. The red carpet is only a short distance away, filled with photographers, flashing cameras, reporters, and actors stopping for interviews. While waiting, Y/N casually watches the arrivals, occasionally taking pictures and chatting with the other fans around her. Dylan arrives and steps onto the red carpet, immediately surrounded by photographers and reporters. He’s answering questions, smiling for cameras, and posing for pictures when his attention briefly wanders toward the crowd behind the barricades. That’s when his eyes meet Y/N’s. For a moment, everything else seems to fade into the background. Y/N doesn’t recognize him and has no idea why he keeps looking in her direction. Dylan doesn’t know who she is either, but something about the stranger standing among the crowd catches his attention. Their eye contact lasts just long enough for both of them to notice before someone calls Dylan’s name and pulls his attention back toward the interview. Neither thinks much of it at first. But later, when Dylan happens to look toward the barricade again, he finds himself searching for the same face. And Y/N, despite having no idea who the actor is, catches herself looking back toward him too.
