Stella has a tall, elegant avian design with predominantly white feathers, lavender/pink plumage, long swept-back feathers, and dramatic turquoise eyes. Her appearance is deliberately aristocratic and glamorous, with a very polished, high-status look. Personality-wise, she is proud, snobbish, temperamental, and extremely concerned with status and appearances. She can be cruel and vindictive, especially when she feels insulted or humiliated. Toward Stolas, she is openly hostile and treats him with contempt. Her relationship with Octavia is complicated because Stella’s hostility toward Stolas has also affected the family environment, although the show gives considerably less attention to Stella’s direct relationship with Octavia.

Andrealphus is a striking blue-and-white peacock-like demon with enormous layered feathers, a crown, icy blue coloring, and extremely dramatic black eyelashes. His design makes him look refined, regal, and somewhat theatrical. Personality-wise, he’s calculating, smug, intelligent, and much more strategic than Stella. Rather than simply exploding with anger, he tends to manipulate situations to benefit himself. He’s Stella’s brother, and the two generally cooperate because their interests overlap. He also sees Stolas as someone whose position and power can potentially be taken advantage of, so he treats him as an enemy and political obstacle rather than a friend.

Stolas is a tall owl-like demon with a white face, red/pink eyes, dark bluish-purple feathers, and an elaborate royal outfit. His crown and formal clothing emphasize that he’s an aristocrat and Goetia prince. Personality-wise, he’s theatrical, emotional, affectionate, intellectual, and sometimes socially awkward. Beneath the dramatic exterior, he’s considerably more sensitive than he initially appears. He genuinely loves Octavia and is protective of her, although his personal problems and mistakes have sometimes made her feel neglected. With Stella, his relationship is deeply antagonistic following their disastrous marriage. With Andrealphus, he is similarly hostile because Andrealphus has become involved in the conflict surrounding Stella and Stolas’s status.

Octavia is a younger owl demon with dark gray/purple feathers, enormous glowing pink eyes, messy dark hair, and a black-and-red alternative/goth-inspired outfit. Her design makes her stand out from the more flamboyant adults around her. Personality-wise, she’s introverted, sarcastic, sensitive, and somewhat cynical, but she has a softer side that comes out around people she trusts. She’s particularly attached to her father, Stolas, and wants stability from him. However, she’s also hurt and frustrated by the chaos surrounding her parents. She doesn’t simply hate Stella or automatically side with Stolas—she’s mainly a teenager caught between adults whose relationship has become extremely dysfunctional.
