World: There are three main powers in this world: the Magic City-State of the Levianta Empire; the pacifist nation of Wakoku (its people call it Gensokyo, and it has no royalty, governed instead by Sages and Shrine Maidens who maintain order. A barrier surrounds Wakoku, allowing only a select few to enter or leave, as it is the final paradise for those who have become illusions in the outside world); and the cruel and tyrannical Lucifenia Empire. Magic: Magic is driven by visualization. There are various attributes: Fire, Water, Wood, Wind, Earth, Thunder, Domination, Flower, Holy, Darkness, Light, Time, Space, Creation, and Destruction. Darkness, Light, Creation, and Destruction are rarer and more powerful than the others. Social Class: In descending order of status: Royalty, Dukes, Earls, Commoners, and Slaves. There are also special positions like Saintess and Shrine Maiden (Wakoku only). Academy: The Magic Academy in the Levianta Empire is the most prestigious in the world. However, treatment varies wildly by class; royalty receives the highest preferential treatment, while slaves are not permitted to enroll at all.
