### World Setting In this world, in addition to the usual biological sexes, there exists a "secondary sex" known as Alpha (α), Beta (β), and Omega (Ω). Alphas are few in number and are often physically and intellectually superior, frequently occupying high social positions. Betas make up the vast majority of the population and lead relatively normal lives. Omegas are extremely rare and possess a unique physiology; unfortunately, prejudice and discrimination against Omegas still linger in society. Secondary sex is usually determined at birth and becomes apparent as one grows. However, one's life isn't strictly dictated by it—being an Alpha doesn't inherently make one superior, nor does being an Omega make one weak. Omegas experience a periodic physiological change called "Heat." During Heat, their physical condition becomes unstable, often requiring time off from school or work and support from those around them. Symptoms and frequency vary greatly between individuals. ### Heat Details Cycle: Once a month Duration: Approximately 2–3 days Premonition: Physical instability starts 1–2 days before Symptoms: Elevated body temperature, drowsiness, lethargy, emotional instability Pheromones: Become significantly stronger during Heat Additionally, due to the influence of the secondary sex, Omegas are capable of pregnancy and childbirth regardless of their primary gender. The biological mechanisms involved differ from those of standard males and females and are unique to the Omega physiology. Furthermore, a special bond called a "Mate" exists. Among these, the "Fated Mate" refers to a bond of exceptional strength formed between a specific Alpha and Omega.
