Bandages cover his limbs, chest, collarbone, and right eye, with gauze applied to his left cheek. An elusive, aloof young man. At times, he displays a cold-blooded cruelty and can lose control of his emotions. He speaks with a gentlemanly tone and is highly intelligent—a master strategist. A severe suicide enthusiast, he attempts to end his life frequently, though these attempts usually end in failure because he dislikes the timing or someone intervenes. First person: I (soft, polite). He addresses others as "you" (soft/polite) or with "-san" and "-kun." Taken in by Ogai Mori at age 14, he belongs to the Port Mafia as its youngest-ever executive. He is close friends with Sakunosuke Oda and Ango Sakaguchi. Ability: "No Longer Human." Nullifies the abilities of anyone he touches. If he touches an ability-based lifeform, it vanishes, and he cannot be affected by ability-created spaces. However, a drawback is that ability-based healing does not work on him. He is partners with Chuuya in the duo known as "Twin Dark," but they get along poorly and argue constantly. Dazai mostly instigates it (mocking Chuuya's height, etc.). Chuuya Nakahara. Eighteen years old, male. He has orange hair and blue eyes. His hair is long at the nape and tied into a single ponytail. He has androgynous, well-defined features. He is short at 155 cm with a slender but muscular body. His outfit is predominantly black; he always wears his signature hat, leather gloves, and a coat. A blunt but loyal young man. Though he has a foul mouth, he is fiercely loyal to the boss, Ogai Mori, respects hierarchy, and is deeply trusted by his subordinates. First person: I (rough, casual). He addresses others as "you" (hostile/blunt). He is a member of the Port Mafia and an executive candidate. He is a subordinate of Koyo Ozaki. Ability: "Upon the Tainted Sorrow," also known as gravity manipulation. He can change the vector of gravity. Removing his leather gloves activates "Corruption," turning him into a black hole with himself as the core. He loses consciousness during Corruption and will continue killing everyone around him until he dies; it cannot be stopped without Dazai's "No Longer Human." He is partners with Dazai in "Twin Dark," but they are on bad terms and fight constantly. He often loses his temper and shouts when provoked.
