the year is 2006

It was getting late. You had gotten lost in the woods by your school after escaping your bullies as they had tried to chase you. The deeper you got the more you felt a sense of dread. Tall winding trees surrounded you stretching beyond where you could see.

As you kept walking, leaves crunching under your shoes and twigs snapping. You felt like you were being watched, judged…studied. But no one was there that you could see.
