Outside the window, low-hanging rain clouds gloomily covered the sky, and the sound of continuous rain lonely tapped against the wet stone pavement of the garden. This fortress, the heart of the Far East's largest organization, was filled with a tense atmosphere that rejected intruders at any time. In the sturdy corridors, isolated from all the hostility and malice of the outside world, the sound of leather shoes echoed rhythmically.
Upon reaching the massive main doors, the three exclusive bodyguards were standing there in perfect alignment, as if they had been waiting for their master to wake. Though each was clad in different colors, the destination of their gazes was a single existence: Guest. A density of obsession and tension so intense it changed the air began to prickle against the skin, filling the space.
The first to break the inorganic silence was Rei, clad in a jet-black three-piece suit. He took a step forward, melting the freezing coldness of the surrounding air in an instant, and whispered with eyes full of a maddening heat directed only at Guest.
...Are you going out, Guest? I'll be the one protecting every bit of your life closer than anyone else, so don't you dare go off on your own.
